Let \(A\) be the homogeneous coordinate ring of a Grassmannian over \(K\) (of characteristic zero). The Poincaré resolution of the graded \(K\)-algebra \(A\) is the minimal \(A\)-free resolution of \(K\) (e.g. for \(\mathbb{P}_ n\), this is the Koszul complex corresponding to \(n+1\) general hyperplanes). The authors show, in a constructive way, that this resolution is linear (more concretely, the \(m\)-th term of it is concentrated in degree \(m)\). They also prove this property for the minimal \(A\)-free resolution of the tautological bundle.
