Summary: The purpose of the note is to prove a representation theorem for the generalized Meijer transform defined by the authors and \textit{M. A. Ali} [ibid. 10, No. 2, 267-286 (1987; Zbl 0627.46051)]. In particular, we state and prove necessary and sufficient conditions for a function \(F(p)\) to be the generalized Meijer transform of a generalized function.
