This paper offers an evaluation of a tabular investigation of Brahmagupta's method (Khandakhadyaka) for calculating true planetary positions. Tables giving the sighra adjustment are based on an exact formula, while manda is based on a simple approximation. Brahmagupta's method coincides with the equant system for finding true positions.
