On \(U(\cdot{})\)-invariance for finite and infinite dimensional control systems (Q1206282)

The authors treat control invariance of a closed subset of the state space for nonlinear control systems. Using techniques from the theory of multifunctions and the theory of differential inclusions, they are able to extend some results of \textit{A. Feuer} and \textit{M. Heymann} [Internat. J. Control. 23, 381-392 (1976; Zbl 0323.93018)] in that sense that some hypotheses may be formulated less restrictive. While in the first part finite-dimensional systems are treated, the second part addresses infinite-dimensional systems, where the setting of the problem follows the work of Lions.
