It is a well-known result of Erdős that if \(f\) is a real-valued monotonic multiplicative function such that \(f(n)\neq 0\) for all \(n\), then \(f(n)=n^ k\). Similar results concerning complex-valued functions and sets of upper density one are also given in the literature. The present paper continues this work.
