Sufficient conditions for local solvability of left invariant LPDOs on the groups of type \(H\) (Q1207247)

In the first part of this paper, the author obtains sufficient conditions for local solvability of general inhomogeneous left invariant differential operators on nilpotent Lie groups of type \(H\) [cf. \textit{G. Metivier}, Duke Math. J. 47, 195-221 (1980; Zbl 0433.35015)]. In the second part of the paper, the author extends the concept of controllable operators given by him in Chin. Ann. Math., Ser. A 12, No. 6, 754-765 (1991; Zbl 0761.35001) on the Heisenberg group, to the groups of type \(H\). Then, the author uses the results obtained in the first part, to derive sufficient conditions for the local solvability of controllable operators.
