Let \(f(z)=z^ p(1+a_ 2z+\dots)\) be analytic in \(\Delta=\{z\): \(| z|<1\}\) and let \(n(f=w,D)\) denote the number of roots for equation \(f(z)=w\) in \(D\subset\Delta\). The following notations will be used in this note \[ \begin{aligned} M(r) &= \max_{| z|=r} | f(z)|, \qquad \Delta_ r=\{r:\;| z|<r\},\\ p(R,\Delta_ r,f) &= {1 \over {2\pi}} \int _ 0^{2\pi} n(f=\text{Re}^{i\theta},\Delta_ r)d\theta=p+H(R,\Delta_ r,f),\\ H(R,\Delta_ r,f) &= \int_ 0^ R h(t,\Delta_ r,f)dt^ 2, \qquad R>0.\end{aligned} \] In this note the following results are proved: Theorem. Let \(p\) be a positive number and \(f(z)=z^ p(1+a_ 2z+\dots)\) be analytic in \(\Delta\) (if necessary in \(\Delta\setminus(-1,0))\) with \(f(z)\neq 0\) for \(0<| z|<1\). Then \[ \begin{multlined} {1\over {2\pi}} \iint_{| z|\leq r} \left|\left( \log {{f(z)} \over {z^ p}}\right)'\right|^ 2 dx dy=p\log {{M(r)} \over {r^ p}} + {{H(M(r),\Delta_ r,f)} \over {2M(r)^ 2}} +\\ \int_ 0^{M(r)} {{H(R,\Delta_ r,f)} \over {R^ 3}} dR, \quad \text{ where } z=x+iy, \quad 0<r<1.\end{multlined} \] Corollary. Let \(f(z)=z^ p(1+a_ 2 z+\dots)\) be areally mean \(p\)-valent in \(\Delta\) and \(\log(f(z)/z^ p)=2p \sum_{n=1}^ \infty c_ n z^ n\), \(z\in\Delta\). Then \[ \sum_{n=1}^ \infty n| c_ n|^ 2 r^{2n}\leq {1\over {2p}} \log {{M(r)} \over {r^ p}}, \qquad 0<r<1. \]
