In this short note the author shows some characterizations of \({\mathcal H}\)- classes, Schützenberger groups and regular elements in the multiplicative semigroup \(\mathbb{Z}_ m\) of integers modulo \(m\) in terms of groups of units, divisibility and related number theoretical notions.
