The canonical transformation of a class of weak nonholonomic systems is studied. The weak nonholonomic systems are those that there are small parameters in the nonholonomic constraint equations and when the parameters are equal zero, the systems become holonomic. The weak nonholonomic systems are neither like holonomic systems, nor like strong nonholonomic systems. Under certain conditions, the equation of the weak nonholonomic systems admit a representation in terms of the canonical form. So the canonical transformation theory of the holonomic conservative systems can be applied to this class of systems.
