    If \(m\) is a multiply perfect number (that is, \(m\mid \sigma(m))\) and \(m = p^an\) where \(p\) is prime and \(n\mid \sigma(p^a)\), then \(m = 120, 672, 523776\), or \(m\) is an even perfect number. Related results have been obtained by \textit{R. K. Guy} and \textit{J. L. Selfridge} [Math. Comput. 29, 101--107 (1975; Zbl 0296.10007)] and \textit{G. G. Dandapat}, \textit{J. L. Hunsucker}, and \textit{C. Pomeranc} [Pac. J. Math. 57, 359--364 (1975; Zbl 0295.10005)].
