    The main contribution of the paper is the derivation of a new coordination algorithm from the interaction principle, using the idea of interaction operators. The algorithm is explained in the general framework of optimization problems. Its convergence is studied in the simple case of quadratic minimization. The applications to optimal control problems are presented and specific questions arising from the dynamic aspects are discussed. The notion of on-line coordination is investigated and another algorithm is proposed as a consequence. Finally, the author gives computational results for a simple example as an illustration of the previous theoretical developments.
