This is the second publication from the author's PhD thesis [Relationentheoretische Charakterisierung halbgeordneter affiner und projektiver Geometrien, Duisburg (1990; Zbl 0746.51023)]. In the first one [Res. Math., to appear], to any halfordered affine geometry \({\mathfrak A}\), the author associates a so-called affine order relative (AOR). This arises from the affine relative attached to \({\mathfrak A}\) in the sense of \textit{H.-J. Arnold} [Abh. Math. Semin. Univ. Hamb. 45, 3-60 (1976; Zbl 0337.50006)] by splitting the relations describing the parallel classes of \({\mathfrak A}\) into two mutually inverse relations reflecting the parallel classes of oriented lines of \({\mathfrak A}\). In the paper under review, the author shows that via projection any AOR induces a so-called projective orientation algebra (POA), the multigroup of which coordinatizes a halfordered projective geometry in the sense of E. Sperner. This geometry is shown to be isomorphic to the space at infinity of the underlying affine geometry \({\mathfrak A}\). Finally, the well known results of E. Sperner and H. Karzel on harmonic halforderings and on the function \(Z\) are established in the language of the POAs.
