In this paper the authors continue their studies on stable methods for recovering a function \(f:\mathbb{R}^ N\to\mathbb{C}\), \(N\geq 1\), knowing only an approximation of its Fourier transform. Here they deal with the noncompact case which presents some technical difficulties. The pointwise convergence of the method is proved and some a priori estimates for suitable classes of functions are obtained.
