Let \(H\) be a complete, separated, locally convex topological vector space. A sequence \(X=(x_ k)_{k=1}^ \infty\) of elements of \(H\) is called an absolutely representing system (ARS) in \(H\) if any \(x\in H\) can be represented in the form \(x=\sum_{k=1}^ \infty c_ k x_ k\), this series being absolutely converging in \(H\). The sequence \(X\) (with all \(x_ k\neq 0\)) admits an absolutely converging nontrivial expansion of zero (ACNEZ), if there exists a series \(\sum_{k=1}^ \infty c_ k x_ k\) absolutely converging to zero in \(H\), where not all \(c_ k\) are equal to zero. There are given general conditions under which (ARS) and (ACNEZ) for some \(X\) are equivalent, applying methods of entire functions. There are given also applications to some functional spaces and applications to \({\mathcal E}\)-convolution operators.
