    The question of uniqueness of limit cycles of some normal form equations of vector fields with singularities of codimension two is considered. The investigated normal form equations are differential equations in the plane with polynomial right-hand sides. They are of the forms \[ (1)\quad \dot x=\epsilon_ 1\cdot x+axy+d_ 1\cdot x^ 3+d_ 2\cdot xy^ 2,\quad \dot y=\epsilon_ 2+bx^ 2+cy^ 2+d_ 3x^ 2y+d_ 4y^ 3 \] and \[ (2)\quad \dot x=x(\epsilon_ 1+p_ 1x^ 2+p_ 2y^ 2+q_ 1x^ 4+q_ 2xy^ 2+q_ 3y^ 4), \] \[ \dot y=y(\epsilon_ 2+p_ 3x^ 2+p_ 4y^ 2+q_ 4x^ 4+q_ 5x^ 2y^ 2+q_ 6y^ 4), \] where \(a,b,c,d,p_ j,q_ k\) are constants, \(\epsilon_ 1,\epsilon_ 2\) are small parameters. Under some conditions imposed on the coefficients the authors prove that equation (1) has at most one periodic orbit in a small neighborhood of the origin in the half plane \(\{\) (x,y):x\(\geq 0\}\) and that equation (2) has at most one periodic orbit in a small neighborhood of the origin in the first quadrant \(\{\) (x,y):x\(\geq 0,y\geq 0\}\) for all small \(\epsilon_ 1,\epsilon_ 2\).
