It is well-known that all examples of sharply 3-transitive groups which are known up to now are constructed with KT-nearfields. In this article the author presents certain methods of construction of KT-nearfields which he names ``canonical''. It is essential that in this class of KT- nearfields also nonplanar nearfields can be found. All nearfields in question are Dicksonian ones. (It is unknown up to now as far as I know whether there exist KT-nearfields among the Non-Dickson- nearfields constructed by Zassenhaus and Grundhöfer.) Since in Dickson nearfields \(F^{\kappa}\) we have: \[ Q:=\{x^ 2\in F^*| \quad x\in F^*\}\subseteq U:=\{x\in F^*| \quad \kappa_ x=id\} \] the factorgroup \(F^*/U\simeq ({\mathbb{Z}}_ 2)^ n\) for some cardinal n. The method of construction here consists in finding such group couplings on \(({\mathbb{Z}}_ 2)^ n\), which can be ``lifted'' to couplings of the commutative fields \((F,+,.)\).
