In this well written paper, the authors survey some general results on convergence of C-fractions, and the related problem of normality and convergence of Padé tables. Particularly interesting are the new results and methods of the authors that enable one to show convergence of C-fractions of functions close enough, (in an explicitly defined sense) to a given function. These theorems provide an important positive contribution to the understanding of the stability of convergence properties of C-fractions under perturbations of functions.
