The famous Borsuk-Ulam theorem states that for each continuous map f: \(S^ n\to R^ n\) from an n-dimensional sphere into an n-dimensional Euclidean space there exists a point \(x\in S^ n\) such that \(f(x)=f(- x)\). Replacing \(S^ n\) by an arbitrary compact space X; a map f by a multivalued admissible map and \(R^ n\) by a generalized manifold the author obtains a generalization of the above theorem which is in the same time a generalization of Bourgin-Yang theorem. An estimation for the covering dimension of the set \(A_ f=\{x\in X;\quad f(x)\cap f(x_ 1)\cap...\cap f(x_{p-1})\neq \emptyset \}\) is derived, where points \(x,x_ 1,...,x_{p-1}\) are in some ``nonsymmetric'' \(Z_ p\)-relation. It is worth to pointing out that the class of maps considered in the paper contains e.g. multivalued maps with convex values, acyclic maps and compositions of acyclic maps.
