The convergence results of \textit{G. Criscuolo} and \textit{G. Mastroianni} [Math. Comput. 48, 725-735 (1987; Zbl 0638.65017)] for interpolatory product rules for evaluating Cauchy principal value integrals of the form \(\oint^{1}_{-1}w(x)f(x)(x-\lambda)^{-1}dx\) with an admissible weight function w(x) are generalized in two directions. The first one is the case when w(x) is replaced by an arbitrary integrable function k(x) subject to certain conditions. The second generalization devotes the case when the interpolation points are Radau or Lobatto points with respect to w(x), i.e. they are zeros of certain functions connected with w(x), instead of the Gauss points considered earlier. There is a discussion of the results.
