Yetter-Drinfel'd \(H\)-Azumaya monoids in closed categories (Q1264243)

The authors study the braided monoidal category of Yetter-Drinfel'd \(H\)-modules, where \(H\) is a Hopf algebra in a symmetric closed category \({\mathcal C}\) with equalizers and coequalizers. The Yetter-Drinfel'd \(H\)-Azumaya monoids defined over this category may be used to construct a Brauer group \(BQ({\mathcal C},H)\), which generalizes for any commutative ring \(R\) the Brauer-Long group \(BD(R,H)\) of \(H\)-dimodule algebras, where \(H\) is a commutative and cocommutative \(R\)-algebra, as well as other related constructions in the literature. Particular emphasis is laid upon the functorial aspects of this construction.
