It is proved that an interval \([0,a]\) of a D-lattice with \(a \neq 1\) is an ideal iff \(a\) is idempotent, i.e. satisfies the equation \(a + a = a\). Another result concerns Boolean D-posets: if such a poset \(P\) has an idempotent atom distinct from \(1\), then \([0,a^\perp]\) is a proper ideal, and \([a,1]\) is a proper filter in \(P\), and they are complements of each other.
