A quasirepresentation is a mapping of a (semi)group into the space of linear operators with small difference between the image of the product of two elements and the product of their images. This paper specifies conditions that guarantee the coincidence of a quasirepresentation with a certain ordinary representation on the whole space of the quasirepresentation or on some invariant subspace. The existence of representations close to bounded quasirepresentations is shown to hold in the case of amenable locally compact groups.
