The author generalizes his previously obtained result for pair correlation functions of completely integrable quantum maps where he proved convergence to a Poisson process when the number of eigenvalues increase [ibid. 196, 289-318 (1998; 949.37040)]. In this paper the result is strengthened to almost everywhere convergence to a Poisson process along the entire sequence of Planck constants. This result is applied not to the individual pair correlation function but to the average.
