    This paper deals with the following linearized transport equation of the transport operator \(A\) with integral boundary conditions: \[ \begin{multlined} {\partial\over\partial t}f(x,\mu,t)= -\mu{\partial \over\partial x} f(x,\mu,t) -\Sigma f(x,\mu,t)+ {k\over 2} \int^1_{-1} f(x,\mu',t) d\mu',\\ (x, \mu) \in G=[-a,a] \times[-1,1],\;t>0, \end{multlined} \] \[ \mu f(-a,\mu,t)= \int^0_{ -1} \alpha_+| \mu'| f(-a, \mu',t) d\mu', \quad \mu\in I_+= (0,1], \] \[ |\mu| f(a,\mu,t)=\int^1_0\alpha_-\mu'f(a,\mu',t) d\mu', \quad \mu\in I_- =[-1,0), \] where \(\Sigma,k,\alpha\) are positive constants. The main results are the following: Theorem 1. The spectrum of \(A\) for \(\text{Re} \lambda> -\Sigma\) consists of at most countably many isolated eigenvalues each of which has finite algebraic multiplicity. The essential spectrum of \(A\) occupies the left half plane \(\text{Re} \lambda\leq\Sigma\). Theorem 2. For any \(\beta_1\) and \(\beta_2\) with \(-\Sigma <\beta_1<\beta_2\), there exists at most a finite number of eigenvalues of \(A\) in the band \(\{\lambda\in \mathbb{C}|\beta_1 \leq \text{Re} \lambda \leq\beta_2\}\).
