Intersections in hyperbolic manifolds (Q1269700)

The paper deals with infinite volume hyperbolic manifolds. Unlike finite volume hyperbolic manifolds whose fundamental group determines the diffeomorphism type, infinite volume hyperbolic manifolds with isomorphic fundamental groups can differ topologically. In the paper under review the author tries to count hyperbolic manifolds up to intersection preserving homotopy equivalence, and up to tangential homotopy equivalence. It is proved that only finitely many orientable hyperbolic \(n\)-manifolds are total spaces of vector bundles over a closed negatively curved manifold of dimension greater than or equal to \(3\). In order to help the reader to understand the richness of results, that can seem abstract at the first sight, the author gives a lot of examples.
