Probability characteristics of random allocations of particles into cells in polynomial-type schemes (Q1269942)

The author considers so-called decomposable statistics, that is sums of the form \(\mu_r(n)=\sum_{h=1}^N g_h(x_h)\), where \(g_h(x)=1\) if \(x=r\), \(g_h(x)=0\) otherwise, and \(x_1,\ldots,x_N\) are nonnegative integer-valued random variables of the so-called polynomial type. Properties of decomposable statistics such as distributions, moments and characteristic functions are obtained.
