Cyclicity of planar polycycles and ensembles with codimension 3 degeneration through a saddle-node and two hyperbolic saddles (Q1272307)

The cyclicity of planar polycycles is closely related to Hilbert's 16th problem (the finite cyclicity of planar polycycles implies the existence of a uniform bound of the number of limit cycles for planar quadratic polynomial vector fields). The author deals with the problem of cyclicity of four classes of codimension three planar polycycles and ensembles containing a saddle-node and two hyperbolic saddles. The exact cyclicity or cyclicity bound of these classes of polycycles is established. Proofs of the results are based on finitely smooth normal forms given by \textit{Yu. S. Il'yashenko} and \textit{S. Y. Yakovenko} [Russ. Math. Surv. 46, No. 1, 1-43 (1991); translation from Usp. Mat. Nauk 46, No. 1(277), 3-39 (1991; Zbl 0744.58006)].
