This paper is devoted to the study of explicit product structures on various cyclic cohomology theories. Following the work of Cuntz and Quillen, the products are first constructed for adically filtered quasifree algebras and then transferred to arbitrary algebras. After reviewing some basic facts on cyclic cohomology theories, the author introduces explicit product and coproduct structures relating the \(Y\)-complex of the tensor product of two quasifree algebras to the tensor product of the \(X\)-complexes of the individual factors. Next, using tensor algebras, these operations are transferred to arbitrary algebras and the analog of the Eilenberg-Zilber theorem for periodic cyclic cohomology is proved. The constructions are also generalized by bivariant cyclic theory. After a technical section on deformation retractions of cyclic complexes, the author generalizes the product and coproduct to analytic, asymptotic and entire cyclic cohomology. The analog of the Eilenberg-Zilber theorem for analytic and entire cyclic cohomology is proved and bivariant exterior products on analytic \(X\)-complexes and on asymptotic cyclic cohomology are constructed.
