The authors study the global solvability in a Banach space \(X\) of the integrodifferential equation \[ u'(t) = A(t)u(t) + \int_0^t g(t,s,u(s)) ds + f(t),\quad t \geq 0, \] with ``boundary'' condition \(S(t)u(t)\in D\) and initial condition \(u(0)=\phi\). Here \(A(t)\) is a family of bounded linear operators: \(Y\to X\), \(D\) is a closed linear subspace of \(Y\) and \(S(t)\) is a family of isomorphisms on \(X\). The assumptions of the abstract theory are such that it can be applied to semilinear integrodifferential equations with boundary conditions of the form \(u_x(t,0)-\alpha(t)u(t,0)=u_x(t,1)+\beta(t) u(t,1)=0\).
