    Let \(A\) denote the class of analytic functions \(f\) in the unit disk \(U=\{z:| z|<1\}\), normalized by \(f(0)=f'(0)=1=0\). Let \(S^*= \{ f\in A:\text{Re}({zf'(z)\over f(z)})>0,\;z\in U\}\) and let \(S^*(\alpha)= \{f\in A:| \arg{zf'(z)\over f(z)} |<{\alpha \pi \over 2}\), \(z\in U\), \(0<\alpha\leq 1\). Recently the reviewer in a joint paper with two others introduced the class \(H(\alpha)\) functions \(f\in A\) satisfying \(\text{Re}\{\alpha{z^2f''(z)\over f(z)}+{zf'(z)\over f(z)}\}>0\) for \(\alpha\geq 0\) and \({f(z)\over z}\neq 0\) for \(z\in U\) and showed that \(H(\alpha) \subset S^*\), \(H(1)\subset S^*({1\over 2})\). In this paper the present authors prove \(H({2\over 3}) \subset S^*({1\over 2})\) making use of differential inequalities introduced by Miller and Mocanu. Two similar results are also proved.
