Let \((E,\|\cdot\|)\) be a real Banach space and \(P\subset E\) a normal cone. For \(h>0\), the equivalent class of \(h\) is denoted by \(P(h)= \{x\in E:\exists\lambda>0\), \(\exists\mu<0\) such that \(\lambda h\leq x\leq \mu h\}\). Let \(D\subset E\), the operator \(A:D\times D\to E\) is said to be mixed monotone if \(A(x,y)\) is nondecreasing in \(x\) and nonincreasing in \(y\). In this paper, the authors study the relation \(A(tx, t^{-1}y)\geq \phi(t, x,y)- B(x,y)\), and discuss the existence and uniqueness of the system of operator equations \(\{A(x,x)= x; B(x,x)= x\}\), where \(A\), \(B\) are two mixed operators and \(\phi:(0,1]\times P(h)\times P(h)\to (0,1]\) such that \(\phi(t,x,y)> t\), \(\phi(t,x,y)> \phi(t,w,z)\), \(\lim_{s\to t^-}\phi(s,x,y)>t\) for \(x,y\in [u_0,v_0]\), \(y\leq x\), \(t\in(0,1)\) and \(u_0,v_0\in P(h)\). As application, the results are used to study the existence and uniqueness problems of nonlinear integral equations. The results obtained in this paper extend the results of \textit{Li Fuyi} and \textit{Liang Zhandong} [J. Syst. Sci. Math. Sci. 14, No. 4, 355-360 (1994; Zbl 0827.47046)].
