The authors introduce a new class \(A_r(\lambda)\) of weights on \(R^n\) as follows, where \(1<r<\infty\) and \(1\leq\lambda<\infty\). A locally integrable nonnegative function \(w\) in \(R^n\) is in \(A_r(\lambda)\) if \[ \sup_B\left((1/| B|)\int_B w^{\lambda} dx\right)\left((1/| B|)\int_B (1/w)^{1/(r-1)} dx\right)^{r-1} <\infty \] for all balls \(B\subset R^n\). This is a generalization of the usual \(A_r\) class; in fact, \(A_r(1)=A_r\). It is proved that the \(A_r(\lambda)\) is increasing with respect to \(\lambda\), and satisfies a property similar to the strong doubling property of the \(A_r\)-weights. Let \(\mu=w dx\) on \(R^n\), where \(w\) is a weight with \(w(x)>0\) almost everywhere. Then the authors define \(L^s(\mu)\)-averaging domain in \(R^n\) as a direct generalization of the definition of \(L^s\) averaging domain given by \textit{S. G. Staples} [Ann. Acad. Sci. Fenn., Ser. A I, Math. 14, No. 1, 103-127 (1989; Zbl 0706.26010)]: now, \(\mu\) is used instead of \(dx\), and, differential forms are used instead of functions. The main part of the paper is the proof of several versions of Poincaré-type inequalities for differential forms with respect to \(\mu=w dx\), where \(w\in A_r(\lambda)\). The global versions of such inequalities hold on \(L^s(\mu)\)-averaging domains.
