A real \((2n+k)\)-dimensional generic \(CR\)-submanifold \(M\) of \(\mathbb{C}^{k+n}\) is called rigid if it can be globally represented as \(M=\{y= h(w)\}\), where \(w\in\mathbb{C}^n\), \(z=x+iy \in\mathbb{C}^k\) are the coordinates. Let's describe one of the main results of the paper. Fix a point \(p\in M\) and take a normal plane \(N_pM\cong\mathbb{R}^k\) to \(M\) at \(p\). Let \(g:\overline\Delta \to \mathbb{C}^{k+n}\) be an analytic disc with boundary on \(M\) and with center \(g(0) \in N_pM\). Join \(q=g(0)\) with \(p\) by a line segment in \(N_pM\). First: there is an arc \(\gamma_p\) in \(N_pM\) joining \(p\) with \(q\) such that its tangents have arbitrarily small angles with \(\overline{pq}\) and such that each point on \(\gamma_p\) belongs to some analytic disc with boundary on \(M\). Make \(p'\) vary in some neighborhood of \(p\). Take arcs \(\gamma_{p'}\) as above. Second: arcs \(\gamma_{p'}\) sweep out a ``rif'' \(\widetilde M_p\) attached to \(M\) near \(p\) i.e. \(\widetilde M_p\) is a real \((2n+k+1)\)-dimensional generic \(CR\)-manifold, which has \(M\) as its partial boundary.
