The authors consider a magnet immersed in homogeneous incompressible magnetic liquid filling a sphere. It is assumed that the magnetic penetrability of the liquid and magnetization of the magnet substance are homogeneous and constant. The authors derive an analytic formula for the magnetic force acting on the magnet, and discuss the effect of this magnetic force.
