By a result of Comfort, Mill and Gladdiness, every totally bounded Hausdorff Abelian group is resolvable. Soon afterwards, Protasov extended this result to \(\tau\)-bounded topological groups of cardinality \(>\tau\) (thus eliminating the ``Abelian'' restriction). In the paper under review, Malykhin strengthens Protasov's theorem in the case of totally bounded groups by showing that every totally bounded (infinite) group is maximally resolvable. The author also establishes maximal resolvability of uncountable \(\aleph_0\)-bounded groups: (a) of cardinality \(\leq\aleph_\omega\) in ZFC; (b) of arbitrary cardinality under GCH. -- This leaves open the problem of whether every uncountable \(\aleph_0\)-bounded group is maximally resolvable in ZFC.
