The paper studies an \(\text{M/G/}n/0\) system in which each customer is characterized by a random length not dependent on the lengths of the other customers. The service time does not depend on the queue size. It is assumed that the aggregate length of the queue is bounded by a constant. For this and \(\text{M/G/}\infty\) systems, the stationary distributions of the number of customers and the customer loss probability are determined.
