In the nonstandard treatment of topological structures the characterization of the so-called nearstandard points, i.e., the points that are topological infinitely close to standard points, is an important problem. Using the language of P. Nelson's ``Internal Set Theory'' (IST) the author discusses this problem at length for the norm-nearstandard points for the classical \(L^p\)-spaces based on intervals of finite-dimensional real Euclidean vector spaces of IST.
