The system \[ v(t)u_{x} + a_{t}=0,\quad a_{t}=\varphi (u) - a, \qquad 0<x \leq l_{2}, \quad 0<t \leq T \] representing a mathematical model of a disbalanced sorbing process is considered. The functions \(\varphi (u)\), \(u(x,t)\), \(a(x,t)\), \(v(t)\) are to be determined from initial conditions \(U(0,T)=\mu (t)\), \(a(x,0)=0 \) and the following additional information \[ f_{t}=u(l_{1},t),\quad 0\leq t\leq T,\;0<l_{1}<l_{2}, \qquad f_{2}(t)= u(l_{2}, t),\quad 0\leq t\leq T. \] The uniqueness of the solution for such an inverse problem is proved.
