Let \(\varphi\) be a subharmonic function defined on the complex plane \(\mathbb{C}\) such that \(m<\Delta \varphi<M\), and let the weighted Fock space \(F_\varphi^p\) denote all entire functions \(f\) such that \[ \| f\|_{\varphi,p}^p= \int_C| f(z)|^p e^{-p\varphi(z)} dm(z)<\infty. \] A sampling measure \(\mu\) for \(F_\varphi^p\) is a measure on \(C\) such that, if \(dm(z)\) is replaced by \(d\mu(z)\) in the integral above, then the resulting norm is equivalent to \(\| f\|_{\varphi,p}\). For \(z\in\mathbb{C}\) and \(r>0\), let \(D(z,r)\) denote the disk of radius 1 with center at \(z\). The author proves the following theorem: A measure \(\mu\) is a sampling measure for \(F_\varphi^p\) if and only if both of the following are satisfied: (1) there is a constant \(K\) such that \(\mu(D(z,1))\leq K\) for all \(z\in\mathbb{C}\), and (2) there exists an \(r>0\), a grid on the plane made out of squares of side-length \(r\), an integer \(N>0\), and a number \(\delta>0\) such that \[ \inf \frac{n(S)} {\int_S\Delta\varphi}> \frac{1}{2\pi}, \] where the infimum is taken over all squares \(S\) made out of \(N^2\) little squares from the original grid, and \(n(S)\) is the number of little squares \(s\) in the grid suchthat \(\mu(s)\geq\delta\).
