The Hecke algebras for the Fricke groups (Q1281434)

In this interesting paper, the author studies the structure of subalgebras of the non-commutative Hecke algebra \(\mathcal{H}(\Gamma_{0}(N),GL_{2}^{+}(\mathbb{Q}))\). For example, the structure of the Hecke algebra \(\mathcal{H}(\Gamma_{0}(N),\varDelta)\) (\(N\) square-free) is described. These results can be applied to the Fricke group, and the attached Hecke algebra. The author also studies the action of the Hecke algebra on the space of modular forms for the Fricke group and obtains an explicit formula for the Hecke-Dirichlet series.
