The author obtains the following results: Theorem 1. Every conservative nonregular real Nörlund matrix is a Schur matrix. Theorem 2. Every conservative nonregular weighted mean matrix is a Schur matrix. He observes that the analogue of Theorem 1 for complex Nörlund matrices remains an open question.
