The paper uses the multiple expansion technique to study a medium with arbitrarily oriented spheroids. We obtain formulae providing the re-expansion of vectorial partial solutions of Lame's equation due to the rotation of coordinate system. These formulae enables one to reduce the original boundary value problem to an infinite set of linear algebraic equations. Some numerical results demonstrate how the interfacial stress concentrations, caused by an interaction among the particles, vary with their relative position and orientation.
