Possible size of an ultrapower of \(\omega\) (Q1283127)

The authors give answers to several questions concerning ultrapowers on \(\omega\). Assuming the existence of a supercompact cardinal, there may exist an ultrapower of \(\omega\) whose cardinality is a singular strong limit cardinal. Under the same assumption there may exist an ultrapower of \(\omega\) whose cardinality is a strongly inaccessible cardinal. Under some large cardinal assumptions they construct several \(\lambda\)-Archimedian ultrapowers of \(\omega\). So the existence of a measurable cardinal implies that there may exist a \(\lambda\)-Archimedian ultrapower for some uncountable \(\lambda\).
