Let \(K\) be a non-archimedean local field with ring of integers \(R\), and let \(\Omega_K^n\) be Drinfeld's \(n\)-dimensional upper half space. The authors consider quotients of \(\widehat{\Omega}_K^n\) -- a formal scheme over \(\text{Spec}(R)\) whose generic fiber is \(\Omega_K^n\). Let \(\Gamma\) be a discrete co-compact subgroup of \(\text{PGL}(n, K)\). The quotient \({\mathbf X}_\Gamma = \widehat{\Omega}_K^n /\Gamma\) is algebraizable and its generic fiber is \(\Omega_K^n/\Gamma\). The main results are: (A) Let \(\Gamma_1, \Gamma_2\) be two discrete co-compact subgroups of \(\text{PGL}(n, K)\). Then \({\mathbf X}_{\Gamma_1}\) is isomorphic to \({\mathbf X}_{\Gamma_2}\) over \(\text{Spec}(R)\) is and only if \(\Gamma_1\) and \(\Gamma_2\) are conjugate in \(\text{PGL}(n, K)\). (B) Assume that \(K\) has characteristic zero. Then \({\mathbf X}_{\Gamma_1}\otimes_KK^{alg}\) is isomorphic to \({\mathbf X}_{\Gamma_2}\otimes_KK^{alg}\) over \(\text{Spec}(K^{alg})\) if and only if \(\Gamma_1\) and \(\Gamma_2\) are conjugate in \(\text{PGL}(n, K)\).
