Controllable and autonomous nD linear systems (Q1283335)

Using the behavioural approach and commutative algebra some results on autonomous and controllable discrete systems are generalized from the 2D to the nD case. A simple algebraic characterization of autonomous systems and of the structure of the controllable autonomous decomposition is presented. It is shown that transfer class equivalence is the same as controllable subsystem equivalence with the controllable subsystem itself being the minimal system.
