The authors use quadrature rules known as \(\theta\)-methods to discretize nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations. They present theorems on the qualitative behavior of solutions of discretized equations and on their stability with respect to perturbations in the initial values. The results are illustrated by some numerical examples.
