A general representation for \(\{2\}\)-inverses of a given complex matrix \(A\) is introduced. Also, the author investigates general representations of \(\{1,2\}\), \(\{1,2,3\}\), \(\{1,2,4\}\) inverses, the Moore-Penrose and the group inverse of \(A\). After an introductory section, Section 2 is a contribution to general representations of generalized inverses. The representations are expressed in terms of full-rank factorizations and adequately selected matrices. In Section 3 the author introduces block representations for \(\{2\}\)-inverse and the Drazin inverse. In a particular case the author obtains analogous block representations for \(\{1,2\}\)-inverses different with respect to the corresponding block representations available in the literature. In Section 4 the author investigates connections between the introduced block representations and the corresponding published results. Also, the author suggests a few advantages of the introduced block representations. A brief review of the known results related to the block representations for generalized inverses is presented.
