    The authors discuss the control of robots with elastic joints which interact with a dynamic environment. Their approach is to extend previous work on robots with rigid joints by modelling the dynamics of the elastic joints, in addition to the dynamic environment. They consider control laws of force control and position control and they present simulation results of several examples.
