The region of the fluid mixing for two-phase immiscible flows in heterogeneous porous medium is studied with the help of a high resolution numerical simulation. The results, obtained for moderately large heterogeneity strengths and typical viscosity ratios, indicate that the large time behavior of the mixing region size obeys a scaling power law with exponent 1, independent of the strength and correlation structure of the heterogeneities.
