An accurate adaptive quadrature is used to compute the motion of a vortex sheet in an axisymmetric flow. The presented technique is based on a vector potential formulation, which offers some computational advantages over other methods based on Biot-Savart integral. Direct numerical computations show that the applied technique is much more accurate and efficient than existing techniques. The approach is applied to the investigation of evolution of an initially spherical vortex sheet, and the formation of the 3/2 power singularity in the curvature of the vortex sheet is put into evidence.
